Sunlight Winter Sports Club
Thank you for visiting our website.
Regardless of whether you're here to join one of our programs, become a patron, or simply gather information, we truly value your interest.
The Sunlight Winter Sports Club (SWSC) was established in 1972 with the goal of developing young athletes, who with the confidence and discipline learned from training and competition, will better represent themselves and their communities. SWSC is a non-profit organization that is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors.
The SWSC operating budget is comprised of team fees but relies heavily on outside contributions for the support it provides nearly one hundred young athletes from throughout the Roaring Fork Valley each year.
Thanks to the support of Sunlight Mountain Resort we have a home for training and racing. Again, we appreciate your interest in SWSC and would welcome the opportunity to show you how you can be involved in the club—as a racer, volunteer, or loyal sponsor.
Our Organization
Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, challenging and positive environment for every participant. We aim to be an integral part of the mountain community by grouping winter sports enthusiasts in quality outdoor sports programs. We will continue the strong foundation of our club to be financially sustainable for the next generations of young snow shredders.
Take Action
SWSC is a non-profit organization that is operated by a volunteer board of directors, a volunteer group of skilled locals and a few United States Ski & Snowboard licensed coaches. The SWSC operating budget consists primarily of program fees but relies heavily on outside contributions for the support we provide to nearly 100 young athletes from throughout the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys each year.
