Buddy Werner

The Buddy Werner program is designed for skiers aged 6 to 12 years who want to develop ski-skills in a fun, kid-oriented program designed to give children exposure to alpine ski racing (approximately 50% gates). Skiers are instructed in the basics of ski racing and team participation with an emphasis on learning slalom, giant slalom, and freeskiing/SkillsQuest under close supervision by experienced coaches and parents who are accomplished skiers.

This is not a learn to ski program for kids who have not skied before.
All volunteers and coaches are registered with US Ski and Snowboard, undergo background screening, and are trained in the USOC SafeSport program. Participants meet in small groups with adult coaches on Saturdays.
